La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape consiste \u00e0 imaginer et dessiner le motif puis \u00e0 le reporter sur une toile sp\u00e9ciale tendue sur un grand cadre. Ce tissu appel\u00e9 toile de moine permet de laisser passer l\u2019aiguille du pistolet \u00e0 touffeter sans se d\u00e9chirer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La tapisserie se travaille sur l\u2019envers et le pistolet projette et coupe automatiquement la laine \u00e0 travers la toile, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant le dessin constitu\u00e9 de milliers de brins de laine color\u00e9s d\u2019un centim\u00e8tre environ. L\u2019envers est ensuite encoll\u00e9 avec de la colle \u00e0 moquette pour fixer la laine. Le dos est tapiss\u00e9 de feutrine dont les bords sont soigneusement cousus \u00e0 la main et muni d\u2019un d\u00e9 pour l\u2019accrochage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Il ne manque plus que quelques coups de ciseaux pour finir la pi\u00e8ce; je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00e9viter l\u2019utilisation de la tondeuse pour conserver quelques petites irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9s, je trouve le rendu plus vivant et pr\u00e9cis de cette mani\u00e8re. La tapisserie est maintenant pr\u00eate \u00e0 trouver sa place dans son nouveau logis !<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:heading --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ENTRETIEN\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Pour l\u2019accrochage de votre pi\u00e8ce, privil\u00e9giez un endroit non expos\u00e9 \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re directe du soleil afin de pr\u00e9server au mieux les couleurs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>En cas de besoin, nettoyez-la d\u00e9licatement avec un linge humide (pas de produits d\u00e9tergents) ou passez un rouleau adh\u00e9sif pour textiles. Ne la passez pas en machine ou \u00e0 l\u2019aspirateur.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Le transport peut aplatir ou d\u00e9former l\u00e9g\u00e8rement la laine, n\u2019h\u00e9sitez pas \u00e0 la r\u00e9arranger \u00e0 la main.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:heading --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LIVRAISON<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Pour les pi\u00e8ces disponibles en stock, l\u2019envoi sera effectu\u00e9 dans les 3 \u00e0 5 jours ouvr\u00e9s. The first step is to imagine and draw the pattern, then transfer it to a special canvas stretched over a large frame. This fabric, known as \u00ab\u00a0monk&rsquo;s cloth\u00a0\u00bb, allows the needle of the tufting-gun to pass through without tearing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The tapestry is worked on the reverse side, and the tufting-gun automatically projects and cuts the yarn through the canvas, revealing the design made up of thousands of colored yarn strands about one centimeter long. The reverse side is then glued with carpet glue to fix the yarn. The back is lined with felt, the edges carefully hand-stitched and fitted with a d-ring for hanging.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It just needs a few more scissor strokes to finish the piece; I prefer to avoid using the clippers to preserve a few small irregularities, as I find the rendering more lively and precise this way. The tapestry is now ready to find its place in its new home!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h1>TAKE CARE OF YOUR PIECE<\/h1>\n<p>When hanging your piece, make sure it&rsquo;s not exposed to direct sunlight, to preserve the colors as much as possible.<\/p>\n<p>If necessary, clean it gently with a damp cloth (no detergents) or use a textile adhesive roller. Do not machine or vacuum clean.<\/p>\n<p>Transport can flatten or slightly deform wool, so don&rsquo;t hesitate to rearrange it by hand.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h1>SHIPPING<\/h1>\n<p>Pieces available in stock will be shipped within 3 &#8211; 5 working days. For pieces made to order (specified for each product on the website), please allow 3 to 5 weeks for production.<\/p>\n<p>You can chose Mondial Relay for delivery in a relay point in France or Belgium only. For home delivery, fees will be calculated at check out depending on your home country.
